Model History
GTi's leadership did not take to heart the painful lessons the Bubblejett Company learnt during their launch of the Sprinter 2022 just days prior.
The Order system failed completely for the Javelin 2022 due to the high demand for the new model on the 15th of March 2022. Trying to avoid a PR disaster, GTi’s top brass decided to give out, for free, the Javelin 2022 to anyone that was able to register an order.
The company extended the production quota over the initial number to cover all the registered orders and in the end successfully navigated the debacle.
The failed sale had repercussions for the company as it did not return with any new models to the public for the next few years, only wild rumours of a new GTi Jester coming in and out of the trade press.
The Javelin 2022 is available today only from second-hand outlets.
