Centralised Ownership is a property of assets and it involves how the ownership data of assets is stored and proven on a centralised database. Opposite centralised ownership is Decentralised Ownership.

Description

Centralised ownership means that an asset ownership data is stored and managed within a central database controlled by the developer. Ownership transfers typically occur only within that in-world environment, usually through the trading system or the inventory system and ownership records can be altered or removed through changes to the database during patches or updates.

Assets with this property function as classical items found in other without any new functionality.
