Calido Valley

Calido Valley is a location on Cornucopias Earth positioned in the outer rim of the Cornucopias Region.

It is composed of one "Mega Dome" sky arcology and a Cloud gate.

Calido Valley is refurbished from an old sector dome between 1962 - 1969 by Max Lachance and presently owned by the Cornucopias Racing League. It is the top gem of the latter, housing the Calido Valley Raceway. In addition to the race tracks and racing infrastructure it has facilities for visitors interested in the sport as well as tourists.

History

Calido Valley is a refurbished sector dome. Previously, the unnamed sector dome (probably just “Calido”) was used mainly to unload junk. Some of that previous history is preserved and used as decoration for the race tracks, Calido Red being one example, where a section uses previous junk piles in the track design.

Max Lachance, the driving force behind the refurbishment, started work here in 1962 and was able to open the door to visitors and most importantly racing enthusiasts in 1969. Since then it has garnered a legendary status among flying vehicle racing fans and professionals.

Layout Overview

Calido Valley mega dome is divided into three areas:

• Calido Valley Resort;
• Calido Valley Pavilion;
• Calido Valley Raceway;
