Avatar

An avatar is an unofficial designation for the physical body of a character. It's undistinguishable from the bodies of species they mimic, down to the quantum signature.

An avatar's appearance can be modified using technology developed on Cornucopias Earth. This technology allows manipulation of the quantum signature to a degree which affects the appearance and skills of the individual.
